Control visits
In our Implantology and Prosthetics Center, each patient after undergoing implant surgery should come to control visits, during which the doctor is able to monitor and control the process of treatment of wounds after surgery. Below is a diagram of visits which will allow you to get acquainted with its phases.
Please find below visits chart:
Visit I
First visit takes place from 24 to 78 hours after surgery. During this visit, your doctor will control how wounds heal (assessment of treatment) and once again instruct the patient how to proceed while eating meals, drinking and daily maintenance of oral hygiene.
Visit II
It usually takes place after 7-8 days after undergoing surgery. Your doctor will monitor oral hygiene and decide whether to remove sutures.
Visit III
This visit happens mostly after 12 to 14 days after undergoing surgery. Oral hygiene is subjected to control, and stitches are removed if they are not removed during the second visit.
Visit IV and subsequent
Visit IV occurs one month after surgery, and successive - on average every month- until the healing of wounds is completed. The period of healing usually lasts no longer than three months – for the longer jaw, and six- in case of the jaw.
